Comprehensive reports

And unlike many brokers, we don’t simply provide buyers with a few years of Profit and Loss statements and perhaps a couple of pages of background. We produce a comprehensive Business Sales Report – much like a prospectus from a public company – which examines not only the critical financial indicators but also staff, management, the owner’s role, suppliers, customers, market outlook and a wealth of other factors. Each report includes photographs of the premises and, where appropriate, the business’ operations.

For the seller, that means we’re able to introduce a smaller number of pre‐qualified buyers who are genuinely interested in your business and have the information they need to justify the price you’re asking.

For the buyer, instead of visiting dozens of businesses and trying to make sense of your notes afterwards, you can compare possibilities from the comfort of your home or office; talk to your partner, wife, husband, accountant, financial advisor or investor; and then proceed further only with those businesses which are truly of interest.

Most sellers want to ensure the fact their business is on the market is kept confidential until after settlement, so as to avoid the risk of losing key staff, customers or suppliers.
